Liverpool has won only two points in two games in their group so far. Today, Klopp has no room for mistake and the away team will be looking for an absolute victory in Slovenia.
The Reds played well against Seville in their first game in the groups but were not able to keep their one goal lead, while against Spartak Moscow they struggled and were only able to draw.
Liverpool’s problems are not only visible in the CL, there’s been a serious drop in form in the last two months. They’ve won only once in their last eight visits and in their last five games in the Premier League, the team has only won six points.
Maribor are the underdog in Group E. The team won only a point against Spartak Moscow, while in their game against Seville they lost as visitors. The home team does not possess the same class as the other big European teams and we expect them to struggle against Liverpool, as well.
