The leader of Group C in the UCL, Chelsea, will be meeting Roma on Stamford Bridge today with the Blues having won their two games in the group stages getting 6 points while Roma is behind with only 4. An important game for both teams aiming to head to the eliminations rounds of the UCL.

Two wins so far for the Blues in the UCL, winning at home against Karabakh with 6-0 in their first game, after which they won away against Atletico Madrid with 1-2. Chelsea will almost guarantee its ticket to the elimination phases of the tournament if they win against Roma.

During the weekend, surprisingly, Chelsea lost in their away game against Crystal Palace with 2-1. In their last six games, they’ve won only three, drew once and lost twice.

Drinkwater, Kante and Moses are injured while Morata’s injury status is unknown.

The Italian team started their campaign in the group stage of the UCL with a goalless draw against Atletico Madrid at home, after which they won against Karabakh away with 1-2.

Their last game in the Serie A was a loss at home against the team of Napoli with 0-1. Prior to that game they were on a five game winning streak and six games with no loss streak. Manolas and Defrel are both out for Roma.

Last time these two teams met were in 2008 where they play in the group stage. Chelsea wins with 1-0 at home while Roma wins in Italy with 3-1. Both teams have lost in their most recent domestic league games and will definitely want to bounce back.

The game will be tough for both teams with Chelsea having problems in the center with the lack of Kante. Nonetheless, Conte has a long bench and will manage with the class of players he has.
