The Utah Jazz have been a little disappointing to start the season as they’re hovering just below .500 and they will be aiming to avoid their fifth loss in six games after falling to the Kings in a 119-110 home loss on Wednesday. Donovan Mitchell led the team with 35 points on 13 of 23 shooting, Jae Crowder added 16 points off the bench while Rudy Gobert and Ricky Rubio each scored 13 points. As a team, the Jazz shot 43 percent from the field and 12 of 39 from the 3-point line but they couldn’t find their offense in the fourth quarter where the Kings outscored them by 35-27 to run away with the game late. There was just no stopping the Kings’ Willie Cauley-Stein who scored 23 points on 11 of 15 shooting. With the loss, Utah dropped to 8-10 overall and 2-5 at home.

Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Lakers look to have recovered from their early season struggles as they’ve won six of their last seven games and will be aiming for a third straight victory after sneaking past the lowly Cavaliers in a 109-105 road win on Wednesday. LeBron James led the way with 32 points, 14 rebounds and seven assists against his former team, Lonzo Ball added 15 points with six assists while Brandon Ingram chipped in with 14 points. As a team, the Lakers shot 51 percent from the field, but they trailed for most of the game until LeBron sparked a decisive 15-3 late in the fourth quarter to escape with the narrow win to improve to 10-7 overall and 5-4 on the road.
