- Tottenham gained the upper hand in their Carabao Cup semi-final clash with Chelsea in midweek, but they rode their luck in the 1-0 victory and they’ll need to put in a much-improved performance if they are to overcome a resurgent Manchester United side. Spurs have won their last three home league meetings with United and have kept three successive clean sheets, with the north London side responding well after their 3-1 home loss to Wolves.
- Following Jose Mourinho’s dismissal, United have won their five matches under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, though they were on the backfoot for much of their 2-0 home win over Reading last weekend as they booked their place in the fourth round of the FA Cup. Solskjaer is yet to face a tough test following his appointment and Sunday’s visit to Wembley will provide an indication as to how far they have come under the Norwegian boss.
